J. Von Stratton (Performer) at the 2012 Moisture Festival

The Moisture Festival is a 4 week long non-profit festival celebrating Performance Art, Acrobatics, Aerialists, Singers, Dancers, and everything spectacular in between. It's a globally recognized festival with performers flying in from all over the world. That's right, and it happens right here in our Emerald City!
I am thrilled to be a part of the Libertease Burlesque night on Friday March 30th.
Myself, along with a few others you may recognize (Inga Ingenue, Miss Indigo Blue, and Iva Handfull) will be performing acts on the Broadway Performance Hall stage accompanied by live band The Zebra Kings. It's a night of tantalizing dance and ribald comedy/varietè acts.

I am pleased to be showcasing a Brand New Act from the J. Von Stratton repertoire. Not to be missed! Here's a Sneak Peek:

It wont air until May(ish), but for now, here's a nibble of what's to come....

J. Von Stratton Designs for Seattle Dances

The Plymouth Housing Group is one of Seattle's most notable charities. Building housing and finding homes for Seattle's homeless and disabled. It truly is an Emerald City treasure.
Every year the folks at Plymouth Housing Group throw a huge party in the style of Dancing with the Stars. The night follows 8 Seattle celebrities as they twist and turn, shimmy and shake, and padebure across the stage. I was honored to be appointed head designer for this year's event. 3 months later, my designs twirled across the stage on the lovely and talented participants.

This year Seattle Dances raised $450,000 for the Plymouth Housing Group.
Way to go everyone! I look forward to next year!
